Phil Collins, In The Air Tonight [Single 12’] (1981/1997)

I’ve never had a credit card – still don’t. Probably a good thing now, definitely a good thing then. Back at university I had no idea of responsibility. A friend was ordering books and CDs from Amazon – it was a bit of a thing. And he was one of the few people I knew, then, that had a credit card. He offered to buy me some things – I’d pay him back. And I did. What did I order? A couple of CDs – can’t even remember what they were now. And this. The Phil Collins In The Air Tonight single. It contains this remix (at least I think it’s that one; I’ve never listened to it) and the single version of In The Air Tonight. It arrived sealed. And I didn’t have a turntable at the time. I think I just wanted to see if it would arrive; wanted some mail. Hard to know really. But I’ve never opened it. Still have it. Still sealed.
