I’ve been waiting for this news for a while; I’ve been hoping. Robert Plant will play two shows in New Zealand next year, Tuesday April 9 in Wellington (TSB Bank Arena) and Thursday April 11 at Vector Arena in Auckland.

This will be great shows – I have no interest in seeing a reformed Led Zeppelin but every interest in seeing Plant. His solo career has been great, constantly evolving, moving, seeking exploring – and in particular his last decade of shows and albums has been an embarrassment of riches.
